美國留學申請 英文推薦信應該怎么寫出國留學推薦信也是大學申請的一個必不可少的組成部分，一般大學需要三封推薦信，一份來自班主任的推薦信，以及兩封來自任課老師的推薦信。有些學校還可以接受來自實習單位，社團領導，甚至同齡人的第三方推薦信。
國際學生的推薦信
如果您的孩子是在國外讀高中，或者上的是國際班，那么推薦信是完全由老師親自寫的，而且老師寫完之后會直接郵寄給學校，或者通過一個在線的系統(tǒng)上傳給學校，不給學生過目的權利。當然，這樣的推薦信也最具備公信力，因為這是老師對于學生最直接最客觀最不摻假的評價。而且一般加拿大(或者說西方國家)的老師給學生寫的推薦信都會比較客觀，不會一味美化和夸大學生的有點，有時候也會提出學生不足的地方，所以這樣的推薦信絕對會影響到招生官的判斷。

自薦信的作用是什么?
但是無論是國際班還是國外高中，到了申學季，找招生官寫推薦信的學生都會比較多，有時候招生官也會應接不暇，所有有時候給學生的推薦信只會是草草幾句話。這種情況下，我們會建議也指導學生給招生官寫一封自薦信。一般是以Email的形式，在請求老師幫自己寫推薦信的同時，可以適當“提醒”老師自己和老師相處的這段時間都一起做過哪些有有意義的活動?或者在班級擔任了哪些職務?做出了什么貢獻?等等。畢竟老師也是人，除非那些特別突出，給老師留下特別印象的學生，大多數(shù)學生與老師互動的一些事情容易被老師遺忘，所以老師也希望得到你的提示，喚醒自己的記憶。
如果你上的是中國國內(nèi)的課程，那么一般來說很難從老師那得到一份真正的推薦信。南外每年幾百個出國生，想讓同時兼顧教學工作的老師去一個個寫推薦信確實強人所難。所以對于大多數(shù)學生來說，只能自己寫推薦信，然后拿去給老師簽字?？雌饋砝蠋熓窃趲湍?，其實不盡然。最大的困難莫過于從另一個人的角度夸獎自己。

如何讓自己的推薦信被寫得更好
就拿學校老師的推薦信來說，一般班主任老師的推薦信著重體現(xiàn)學生的個性魅力，任課老師的推薦信著重體現(xiàn)學生的學術能力。因為就一個班級來說，班主任是跟學生最親近的老師，雖然班主任也任教，但是班級大大小小的事務，活動，晚會等班主任一般都會參與。所以班主任是最有可能了解學生學術以外的能力的，班主任的推薦信中就要盡量展示學生在學術以外的特點。在學生寫推薦信之前，可以列一個提綱好好回憶一下，也可以去找班主任老師討論一下，想一想具體的事例，比如某一次義賣活動，你是如何發(fā)揮了自己的凝聚力，帶領大家完成任務?；蛘吣骋淮嗡囆g節(jié)，你擔任了什麼職務，如何協(xié)調(diào)各個部門的運作，期間又遇到了什麼困難如何解決的等等。切記不要滿紙?zhí)自?，肆意吹捧，把自己描述成一個全面發(fā)展，毫無缺點的學生，這樣的推薦信非常虛偽，會讓招生官一看就覺得是自己代寫的，因為這不是一位教師應該有的客觀公正的素質(zhì)和態(tài)度。

另外任課老師的推薦信就要著重體現(xiàn)學生的學術能力，你是一個課堂上積極踴躍，反應快，思維活躍，善于表達的人，還是一個思維嚴謹，不想到百分之百正確的答案絕不會舉手發(fā)言的人。平時是保質(zhì)保量完成作業(yè)，時間觀念很強，還是雖然不能按時完成作業(yè)，但每次作業(yè)都本上都有更多更快的解題步驟。不管是哪種類型的人，都體現(xiàn)了你獨特的個性。因為人才的形式有很多種，不拘一格。
所以這也就牽涉到很重要的一點，也就是一致性。就像我在上一次講座中所講到的，申請絕不是由單純的分數(shù)，或者某一篇文書決定的，招生官是根據(jù)包括，標準化考試，個人陳述，命題作文，推薦信，面試，GPA, AP，競賽，活動等方方面面對學生做出的全面評估。所以，整個申請材料的一致性和連貫性就顯得非常重要。比如如果你在個人陳述中強調(diào)自己是一個活躍開朗，善于表達的人，無論觀點是否成熟都愿意先吐為快，拿出來和大家一起討論。而在推薦信中，老師卻說這位同學謙虛謹慎，思維嚴謹，如果沒有萬無一失的答案絕對不會輕易分享，這整個申請就出現(xiàn)了沖突和矛盾。招生官就會覺得要不你的個人陳述是找人代寫的，要么推薦信是自己代老師寫的，對于這樣一位不誠信的學生，即便標準化考試接近滿分也很難被名校錄取。
總之，申請工作是一個繁瑣細致，需要深入挖掘自己的大工程，推薦信雖然只占這項工程的十分之一(粗略估計)，只是其中一個小項目，但依然不可忽視。只有方方面面都做到盡量完美，才能最終打動招生官。
