1、In the letter, the student proposes to put the artworks in the lobby at the entrance to the student center, because the center has many students and is full of natural light. For the first point about many students passing through student center, she thinks the number of students coming and going is huge, which could be distracting for people to view the artworks. The center is always crowded with people. It ’ s hard to appreciate the artworks with so many people around. For the second point about natural light, she thinks it ’ s not very good. If it ’ s a sunny day, it ’ ll be way too bright. If it ’ s a cloudy day, it ’ ll be way too dark. Instead, the artworks need consistent light like the electric light in an art museum because the electric light is always carefully controlled and stays at a same level.

2 、Diane proposes that the university should build an art museum but the woman in the conversation disagrees with this proposal and she has two reasons for her opinion.

　　First, she says that students don’t need a new art museum on campus to see artwork. The country art museum is just half an hour away. To get there, students can hop on a bus to and with their student IDs, pay two dollars for admission. There they can see some of the greatest art in the world from well-renowned artists.

首先來看閱讀材料部分。閱讀部分的時長為45秒，內(nèi)容一般分為兩種：1.School Announcement 學校通知 (較?？?：學校會發(fā)布一個通知，通知學生某項決議，然后，給出兩個理由。2.Student Proposal 學生提議：一名學生，會因為學校目前存在的某個問題，或者認為學校的某項決定影響了自己的利益，寫的一封反對信或者建議信。

如何在短短的45秒內(nèi)高效提取信息呢?可以遵循以下三步：

1.看到閱讀材料，首先記標題，然后到正文部分去記兩個要點。

2.Task3的閱讀部分，一般第一句話是背景信息，可以直接略過。在文章第三行的位置，開始尋找第一個觀點。要特別注意強轉(zhuǎn)折或順承的信號詞，比如however, but, also, yet, still，這些詞后面容易出觀點。

3.Task3 的兩個點，絕大多數(shù)情況，都在閱讀材料的中后部，所以為了節(jié)約時間，可以嘗試跳讀。

聽力技巧：

1. 需要迅速判斷主說人后，敲定口語表達過程中的人稱(迅速判斷He /She ，并在草稿紙上標注出來，以防講的時候混淆)

2. 率先表達自己同意或反對的觀點，并解釋的那個人，就是主說人，一般不會超過前三句。

3. 句子中盡量不記主語，要記動詞和賓語，因為動詞體現(xiàn)文章邏輯，影響表達流暢性。

4. 60s的口語表達時間，建議的黃金分配為：reading 20s, Listening 40s(可上下浮動5-10s)。如果聽力能力欠缺，可以多展開閱讀部分信息。
