Well, China has a long and rich history, you know, so we have countless traditions, but today I’d like to talk about what usually happens during the Spring Festival, which is the most important celebration for Chinese people.

On Chinese New Year’s Eve, all the family members would come back home for the family reunion dinner, no matter where they are and how far away they are from home. And it’s not an ordinary meal, I mean, every dish has its special meaning. For example, we must eat fish that day, because in Chinese, fish is pronounced as YU which sounds like “surplus”, so you see, that’s a good wish for the coming new year, meaning that the family would make more than enough money.

And I’m sure you know the tradition that everyone has to eat dumplings on New Year’s Eve. The interesting part is, when we make the dumplings, we would mix some coins or peanuts into the fillings, and the one who get the specially made dumpling would have good luck throughout the whole year. I know it sounds a little superstitious, but it’s a time-honored tradition.

And there’s another activity we have to do during dinner, which is like a ritual, that is, to watch the Spring Festival Gala broadcast by China Central Television. It’s an annul variety show, and it’s the most watched TV show all around the world, you know, because of the large population in China.

Anyway, I think it is the tradition that helps people get in festive mood during Chinese New Year, so I believe it’s worth passing on the next generation.

We have many traditional festivals in China, the most famous one being Spring Fes-tival, or Chinese New Year. But I'd like to talk about a festival that occurs every year around September or early October, called Zhong Qiu Jie, or Mid-Autumn Day. It is perhaps lesser-known outside of China, but it is personally one of my favourite fes-tivals and one that I look forward to every year.

As the name suggests, Mid-Autumn Day should take place around the middle of au-tumn. The reason the date changes is because it should be the fifteenth day of the eighth month in the Chinese lunar calendar, and this changes in the Western calen-dar depending on the year.

The reason it is one of my favourite festivals is because we eat moon cakes! As well as being delicious, moon cakes have a special meaning. They are round, which is a symbol of family and togetherness. They usually have a sweet filling, which represents a sweet and happy life. Moon cakes are generally only around at this time of year, so it's important to make the most of them while you can.

As you can tell, I'm a big fan of Mid-Autumn Day. It makes me feel warm, thinking about my family, and a little nostalgic as I remember all the years I have eaten moon cakes. I think it's very important to keep these traditional festivals going as they rein-force Chinese culture and remind us to think about our families at a time when more and more people may live a long way from home.

三、雅思口語part2滿分技巧分

例：Describe a person who is your friend Who he/she is?What he/she looks like What he/she does?Explain why you like this person。

首先，我們來看第一個問題。Who this person is?我們沒有必要在這個問題耗時很多。但是雅托邦老師建議在回答的時候可以聯(lián)想與之相關的東西，然后引入話題。例如：

I have lots of good friends. But speaking of my best friend, I think it is...

而針對第二問和第三問，考生只要依次回答即可。不過，老師還是建議同學們在1分鐘準備過程中，最好在草稿紙上寫上1,2,3,4題目中給出的問題，比如有長相和身份，注意此時簡單的描述即可。在2、3問，則可加入題目沒有問但與其相關的介紹，例如朋友的性格，從而增加自己論述的篇幅。不難看出我們這樣做就會很容易的引入話題。最后一步一般就需要考生進行詳細的解釋。學生就需要思考你喜歡這個人的原因，在此我們可以進行合理的聯(lián)想。由于他很easy-going，friendly，或者非常helpful等等。但是，在此老師還得提醒同學們，在想出中心詞后，我們一定要給出例子、故事來充實答案。這樣的話，可以顯得內容具有邏輯性與延續(xù)性。

看完上面這些，你是否有一種豁然開朗的感覺，不過還不能高興太早，因為如果你想要取得高分，那么你就需要注意一下幾點：

1.充分利用一分鐘的準備時間?？忌谝环昼姷臏蕚鋾r間里要盡量多地寫下關鍵詞。因為大多數(shù)考生在口語考試第二部分經(jīng)常會由于緊張而突然沒有思路，在60秒之內寫下8～10個關鍵詞有助于考生在答題過程中理清思路。

2.完全回答答題卡上的四個問題，說滿兩分鐘的答題時間?？脊倏匆粋€考生的思路主要是看這個考生能否遵照考試指令完成問題，并且有條理、有邏輯地回答完這些問題。

四、雅思口語如何提高

雅思口語part2的話題種類很多，需要進行大量的練習，因此雅思口語找到一個專業(yè)的外教進行練習還是很有必要的。分享一下我在用的app：學校百科，可以隨時和世界各地的Native Speaker進行一對一的口語對練，里面有很多專業(yè)的雅思外教可以選擇，而且還有前雅思高級考官，強烈建議考試前跟雅思考官模擬測試一下。這個軟件用起來就跟打微信語音／視頻電話一樣，質量很清晰。這個是最讓我感到意外且性價比超級高的一個APP了。我長期練習的一個外教陪練是英國的Leila，她不僅口音純正，而且人超級nice，她本人還是一個攝影師，我也經(jīng)常跟她交流攝影方面的技巧。

不過大家在跟外國人練習雅思口語的時候，我有2個建議：1是提前準備一個話題，帶著話題去跟他們練習能讓你學到很多地道的表達；2.是不一定非要選擇歐美的老外，像有些南非、菲律賓的也很專業(yè)，練習口語也不錯。
