目標(biāo)一定要明確
簡歷的內(nèi)容要緊扣目標(biāo)申請專業(yè),要能集中反映對應(yīng)的專業(yè)背景與能力。
簡單而又厚實

a、西方人經(jīng)?;煜张c名,導(dǎo)致錄取后發(fā)的I—20表格上姓名顛倒。然后還得聯(lián)系學(xué)校修改后再郵遞過來,很麻煩。所以建議在簡歷或者填各種申請表格中采用姓的漢語拼音都大寫,名的漢語拼音僅首字母大寫,姓與名的先后次序倒不重要。當(dāng)然,還可以把自己的姓名及性別作為簡歷的標(biāo)題, 如Mr.Ming ZHANG。
b、地址一定填準(zhǔn)確,否則可能延誤收到錄取包裹。如果家庭住址不方便收包裹,可以在簡歷里分開寫上mailing address (郵寄地址)和permanent address(家庭地址),這樣學(xué)校一般會把包裹寄至mailing address。如果你住的是小巷小街,不要翻譯地址,直接使用拼音。
c、聯(lián)系電話的話應(yīng)該在電話前加區(qū)號和國家號,用短橫線隔開,城市區(qū)號前不加“0”,如北京座機格式是0086—10—65229780,而手機是0086—1371066666。
d、電子郵箱非常重要,一定留一個有效的,因為申請過程中郵件會成為申請者和學(xué)校間的主要溝通方式。

即Educational background。倒著時間來寫,即最近的教育經(jīng)歷放前面。內(nèi)容包括畢業(yè)/在讀學(xué)校名,起止時間,學(xué)位,專業(yè),如果綜合GPA或者專業(yè)GPA較高或者班級排名比較好,可以重點突出。同時可以把核心課程,與申請相關(guān)的部分課程羅列出來。
03—科研經(jīng)歷

05—課外活動
即ExtracurricularActivities。 主要展現(xiàn)個人素質(zhì)的全面發(fā)展,以及個人對集體和社會的責(zé)任感。很多申請者如果沒有工作實習(xí)和科研經(jīng)歷的話,這部分盡量寫多些。但重點突出,平淡無奇或者對申請專業(yè)無多大關(guān)聯(lián)的就不用寫了。
06—所獲榮譽
即Honors & Awards。學(xué)術(shù)和社會活動方面的榮譽都要寫上去。包括獲獎名稱,獲獎時間,發(fā)獎單位,獎勵原因,可以簡要說明獲獎比例。
07—個人技能
即skills。最好按照與申請專業(yè)相關(guān)程度決定先后,聯(lián)系越緊或越重要的技能一般放最前面。
08—其他
即others,包括標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化考試成績,計算機水平,主要的實驗技能,興趣愛好等。如果留學(xué)語言分?jǐn)?shù)不錯的話,應(yīng)重點強調(diào),分列各單項成績。興趣愛好中如果有極限運動,登山賽車等體現(xiàn)冒險和創(chuàng)新精神的,可以重點介紹。
簡歷的具體內(nèi)容呈現(xiàn)和布局安排要充分結(jié)合申請者的特殊情況以及申請目標(biāo)的特征進行靈活地調(diào)整,方能最大化地發(fā)揮它的價值,幫助申請者在申請過程中贏得優(yōu)勢。
